Կրոնական հողի վրա ֆանատիզմի դրսևորման վտանգը կա' լինի դա Ֆրանսիայում կամ դրա սահմաններից դուրս: Այդ է պատճառը, որ ֆրանսիական իշխանությունները որոշում են կայացրել ավելի վճռական հանդես գալ ահաբեկչության դեմ պայքարում' այն ընդլայնելով ու տարածելով Ֆրանսիայի սահմաններից դուրս: Այս մասին հայտարարեց ՀՀ-ում Ֆրանսիայի արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Ժան-Ֆրանսուա Շարպանտիեն փետրվարի 4-ին հրավիրված ասուլիսում' անդրադառնալով հունվարին «Շառլի Էբդո»-ի վրա հարձակումներին: «Համընդհանուր ժողովրդավարական արժեքներն ավելի քան երբևէ արդիական են: Սահմռկեցուցիչ, տմարդի բռնարարքների արդյունքում թիրախ էին ընտրված ոչ միայն Ֆրանսիան, այլ նաև կարծիք հայտնելու, արտահայտվելու ազատությունները»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ' ասաց դեսպանը:
Հունվարին «Շառլի Էբդո»-ի վրա հարձակման ու դրան հաջորդած ահաբեկչական ակտերի հետևանքով Ֆրանսիայում 16 մարդ մահացավ' լրագրողներ, ոստիկաններ, քաղաքացիական անձինք: Խոսքի ազատության նկատմամբ այդ ոտնձգությունը հանգեցրեց հուզական շոկի, որը պատուհասեց Ֆրանսիային և անցավ Ֆրանսիայի սահմաններից: Ֆրանսիայի հետ համերաշխության երթին շատ երկրների պաշտոնյաներ մասնակցեցին: Փարիզում էր նաև ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը: Այդ օրերին իրենց կողքին լինելու համար դեսպանը շնորհակալություն հայտնեց բոլոր երկրներին:
Իսկ ինչ վերաբերում է հարձակումներից հետո կրկին շաբաթաթերթի նույն ուղղվածությամբ հրատարակումը և ծաղրանկարների թողարկումը, դեսպանը դա համարում է մամուլի ազատության արտահայտում' հավատարիմ' խոսքի ազատության արժեքներին: Նրա խոսքով' դա խորիմաստ ուղերձ էր լրագրողների կողմից:
Դեսպանը չի թաքցնում, որ Ֆրանսիայում բնակչության որոշակի խավերում, բնականաբար, կան հակակրոնական միտումներ: Բայց Ֆրանսիայի ավանդական դիրքորոշումն աշխարհիկությունն է, որն ասում է' պետության լիարժեք չեզոքություն կրոնական ցանկացած կառույցի կամ դրսևորման նկատմամբ: Այստեղից հետևություն' կրոնին առնչվող ցանկացած հարց' հասարակության առանձին ներկայացուցիչներին վերապահվող հարց է: Սա այն դիրքորոշումն է, որը մեծամասամբ ընկալվում է, ընդունվում է և որդեգրել է ֆրանսիական հասարակությունը:
Վերջին տարիներին Ֆրանսիան շատ է փոխվել ճիշտ այնպես, ինչպես ողջ աշխարհը: Շատ են ներգաղթյալները, ներգաղթած ընտանիքների հետնորդները, սերունդները, որոնց կրոնափիլիսոփայական ավանդույթները, բնականաբար, տարբեր են: Բայց աշխարհիկության սկզբունքներից մեկն էլ այն է, որ կարողանա պաշտպանել նմանատիպ դրսևորումներից: Որքան Ֆրանսիան ավելի աշխարհիկ է, խառնածին է, այնքան ավելի շատ է անհրաժեշտ, որ կարողանան դիվերսիֆիկացնել աշխարհիկությունը:
