Հայաստանում Մեծ Բրիտանիայի դեսպանատունը սատարում է Կրակովում Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների հայտարարությունը, որտեղ նրանք կոչ են անում թուլացնել լարվածությունը հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանագծում և հարցին տալ խաղաղ լուծում' նստելով բանակցությունների սեղանի շուրջ:
Այս մասին փետրվարի 6-ին լրագրողներին ասաց Հայաստանում Մեծ Բրիտանիայի արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Քեթի Լիչը: «Ցավում եմ հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանա յին գոտում միձադեպերի և մահերի համար: Տեղյակ եմ, որ անցած գիշեր զոհվել են մեկական զինվոր և խաղաղ բնակիչ», - նկատեց Քեթի Լիչը:
Պատասխանելով այն հարցին, թե ինչու Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների և այլ միջազգային կառույցների կոչերը թույլ ազդեցություն են ունենում հայ-ադրբեջանական հարաբերությունների սրման մեղմացման վրա՝ դեսպանը պատասխանեց, որ սրման թուլացման պատասխանատվությունն առաջին հերթին ընկած է հակամարտության կողմերի վրա, իսկ Մինսկի խմբի գործունեությունը սահմանափակվում է միջնորդի դերով՝ բանակցության սեղանին բերելու հակամարտող կողմերին:
Փետրվարի 5-ին՝ ժամը 23։00-ի սահմաններում, կրակոցներ են արձակվել Տավուշի մարզի Ներքին Կարմիրաղբյուր գյուղի բնակիչ Վանիկ Գուրգենի Ղուկասյանի առանձնատան ուղղությամբ, որի հետևանքով վերջինս կրծքավանդակի ձախ շրջանում ստացել է մարմնական վնասվածք և մահացել:
Փետրվարի 5-ի լույս 6-ի գիշերը տուժողի տան ուղղությամբ ադրբեջանական հենակետերից ինտենսիվ կրակոցները շարունակվել են, որի պատճառով հնարավոր չի եղել դեպքից անմիջապես հետո կատարել դեպքի վայրի զննություն: Նշանակվել է դիակի դատաբժշկական փորձաքննություն: Նախաքննությունը շարունակվում է։
