Բարգավաճ Հայաստան կուսակցության քաղաքական խորհուրդը հանդես է եկել հայտարարությամբ, որում ասվում է.
Երեկ՝ փետրվարի 7-ին, ինքնաձիգով զինված մի խումբ դիմակավոր անձիք Երևան քաղաքի կենտրոնից առևանգել և մոտ 5 ժամ դաժան ծեծի են ենթարկել «Կասեցում» շարժման ակտիվիստ, ԲՀԿ քաղխորհրդի անդամ Արտակ Խաչատրյանին:
Մենք սա գնահատում ենք որպես քաղաքական ուժերին և հասարակությանն ուղղված լկտի և ցինիկ մարտահրավեր: Միանշանակ է, որ կատարվածի ամբողջ պատասխանատվությունն ընկնում է երկրի քաղաքական իշխանության վրա: Երկրում ստեղծված գանգստերական մթնոլորտի և ամենաթողության հիմնական մեղավորը համարում ենք երկրի բարձրագույն քաղաքական իշխանությանը, ովքեր կրում են նաև անձնական պատասխանատվություն այս ամենի համար:
Երկրում կուտակված խնդիրները լուծելու, պետության և ժողովրդի առջև ծառացած ծանրագույն մարտահրավերները դիմագրավելու, երկրում ներքին համերաշխության մթնոլորտ ապահովելու փոխարեն քաղաքական իշխանությունն ընտրում է դարանակալած առևանգման, թիկունքից հարվածելու, ծեծի թուլամորթ գործելաոճը:
Անհապաղ պահանջում ենք իրավապահ մարմիններից՝ ամենասեղմ ժամկետներում բացահայտել այս և վերջին շրջանի բոլոր պատվիրված հարձակումները քաղաքական, հասարակական գործիչների և ակտիվիստների վրա: Երեկ ամբողջ օրը Հայաստանի բոլոր մարզերից, քաղաքներից մենք ստացել ենք ԲՀԿ կառույցների, համաժողովրդական շարժման գրասենյակների և բազմաթիվ քաղաքացիների առաջարկները՝ Հայաստանի տարբեր ծայրերից անմիջապես տասնյակ հազարներով շարժվել դեպի Երևան: ԲՀԿ քաղխորհուրդն այս պահին խնդրում է ձեռնպահ մնալ նման քայլերից: Միևնույն ժամանակ մենք կոչ ենք անում գրասենյակների ներկայացուցիչներին և մեր ակտիվիստներին՝ կտրուկ ակտիվացնել աշխատանքները տեղերում՝ ժողովրդի մեջ, համաժողովրդական ընդվզման միասնական օր անցկացնելու համար: Թող որևէ մեկի մտքով չանցնի, թե Արտակ Խաչատրյանի և մյուս քաղաքական-հասարակական ակտիվիստների դեմ բռնությունները մնալու են անպատիժ: Պատժվելու են թե՛ կատարողները, թե՛ պատվիրատուները: Եթե դա չի անում իրավապահ համակարգը, ապա դա անելու է ժողովուրդը:
Ակնհայտ է, որ իշխանությունները կորցնում են իրականության զգացումը և առաջնորդվում են բացառապես հոգեվարքային քայլերով:
ԲՀԿ քաղխորհուրդն առաջարկում է ԲՀԿ ԱԺ խմբակցությանը՝ մինչև դեպքի լիակատար բացահայտումը, մինչև մեղավորներին պատժելը քննարկել Ազգային Ժողովի աշխատանքները բոյկոտելու հարցը, սկսել անհապաղ խորհրդակցություններ ԱԺ այլ խմբակցությունների հետ՝ համակարգելու առաջիկա միասնական քայլերը:
