Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը Հայաստանում ԱՄՆ արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Ջոն Հեֆերնի հետ քաղաքապետարանի ճեմասրահում հյուրընկալել է Երիտասարդ վավերագրողների կարճամետրաժ ֆիլմերի մրցույթի եզրափակիչ փուլ դուրս եկած մասնակիցներին: Ներկաներին ուղղված իր ողջույնի խոսքում Երևանի քաղաքապետի տեղակալ Արամ Սուքիասյանը, կարևորելով նմանատիպ միջոցառումների կազմակերպումն ու երիտասարդ վավերագրողների աշխատանքը, նշել է, որ քաղաքապետարանը միշտ պատրաստակամ է գեղեցիկ նախաձեռնություններին աջակցելու հարցում:
«Մենք միշտ պատրաստակամ ենք օժանդակելու գեղեցիկ նախաձեռնություններին, հնարավորություն ընձեռելու հատկապես երիտասարդ ստեղծագործ սերնդին ու մարդկանց: Վավերագրությունը հայ իրականությունում նոր երևույթ չէ, սակայն տարեցտարի փոփոխվում է, և յուրաքանչյուր ժամանակաշրջան ու սերունդ իր վավերագրումն ու փաստավավերագրումն է բերում: Օրեցօր փոփոխվող աշխարհում այսօր էլ մենք տեսնում ենք երևույթներ, որոնք անհրաժեշտ են հրատապորեն արձանագրելու, փաստելու և վավերագրելու, և շատ լավ է, որ երիտասարդ սերունդը ձեռնամուխ է եղել իր կյանքի, կենսագրության և կենսակերպի պայմաններն ու նախադրյալները, նաև իր տեսածը վավերագրելու, ժապավենին հանձնելու գործին, որը կարող է ծառայել հաջորդ սերունդներին»,- ընդգծել է քաղաքապետի տեղակալ Արամ Սուքիասյանը:

«Վավերագրական ֆիլմերը կարևոր և լավ գործիք են սոցիալական, քաղաքական և տնտեսական խնդիրները ներկայացնելու, վերհանելու համար: Իսկապես ուրախալի էր տեսնել, թե ինչպես են երիտասարդ վավերագրողներն աշխատում տեղացի և օտարերկրացի փորձառու մասնագետների հետ: Նրանք մեզ մոտ եկան գաղափարով և գաղափարը կարողացան վերածել տեսլականի և իրենց ձեռքը վերցնելով տեսախցիկը՝ այդ գաղափարները վերածեցին ֆիլմերի»,- նշել է դեսպանը:
«Թումո» ստեղծարար տեխնոլոգիաների կենտրոնի գործադիր տնօրեն Մարի Լու Փափազյանն էլ նշել է, որ իսկապես հետաքրքիր ու հաճելի է հենց քաղաքապետարանի ճեմասրահում դիտել լավագույնը ճանաչված ֆիլմերը:
«Մեր նպատակն է խրախուսել ու ոգևորել երիտասարդ վավերագրողներին, և պիտի ասեմ, որ մենք տվեցինք մեկնակետը և իսկապես գոհ ենք արդյունքներից, ինչն էլ մեզ հնարավորություն է տալիս ասելու, որ այս գաղափարը լինելու է շարունակական: Շնորհակալություն եմ ուզում հայտնել քաղաքապետարանին, որ մեր կողքին են ու քաջալերում են մեր այս աշխատանքը»,- նշել է Մարի Լու Փափազյանը:
ԱՄՆ դեսպանատան ֆինանսավորմամբ և «Թումո» ստեղծարար տեխնոլոգիաների կենտրոնի հետ համատեղ կազմակերպված փաստավավերագրական ֆիլմերի մրցույթին ներկայացվել էին 28 ֆիլմեր, որոնցից ընտրվել են 14-ը: Մրցույթի 3 անվանակարգերում՝ «Լավագույն ֆիլմ», «Լավագույն պատմություն» և «Լավագույն կինեմատոգրաֆիա» հաղթողներ են ճանաչվել «Ինչպես անցնել (Ջիլիզից Ջիլիզ)», «Իմ տնից սկսվող հայրենիքը» և «Գեղեցիկ մարդիկ» ֆիլմերը։
