Ըստ Զեքի Ալ Դին արաբագիր պատմիչի տեղեկությունների համաձայն Երուսաղեմի հայոց ամենապատիվ պատրիարք Աբրահամ արքեպիսկոպոսը տեսնելով Սուրբ Երկրում Մուհամմեդի աճող զորությունը,626 թվականին անձամբ այցելում եւ տեսակցում է նրան,մարգարեից ստանալով բարեհաճ վերաբերմունք Երուսաղիմա հայ բնակչության նկատմամբ:Իսլամի հիմնադիրը հընթացս հանդիպման ընդունում է մի հաստատագիր վճիռ,ըստ,որի ապահովում էին Երուսաղեմի Հայոց Եկեղեցու իրավունքները:
Ստորեւ ներկայացնում եմ արաբագիր պատմիչի հաղորդած Հաստատագիրը.
«Ես Մուհամմեդ, որդի Աբդուլլահի, մարգարե եւ առաքյալ Աստուծո, Աբրահամ պատրիարքին եւ Երուսաղեմ ու Դամասկոս ու Արաբիո մյուս սահմանները գտնվող հայոց եպիսկոպոսներին ու վարդապետներին եւ իրենց հպատակ ժողովուրդներին, այսինքն՝Երուսաղիմա մեջ բնակվող եթովպիացիներին, ղպտիներին ու ասորիներին շնորհեցի բոլոր իրենց վանքերը, եկեղեցիներն ու դպրոցները, կալվածներն ու արտերը: Ես Աստծո առաքյալ,վկայությամբ Աստուծո,ինչպես նաեւ մոտս եղող բոլոր այր եւ կին մարդկանց խղճի վկայությամբ,խոստացա եւ տվի Երուսաղեմում գտնվող եկեղեցիները՝ Սուրբ Հարության տաճարը եւ Սուրբ Հակոբ կոչված մեծ եկեղեցին,որ Սուրբ Քաղաքի հարավկողմի դիմացն է եւ Սիոնի վանքի մոտ,տվի նաեւ Ձիթենիի վանքը եւ Քրիստոսի բանտի վանքը, Բեթղեհեմի եկեղեցին եւ Սուրբ Հովհաննեսի ու Սամարիայի մատուռները եւ Սուրբ Հարության տաճարի ետեւի աղոթարաններն ու ամբողջ Գողգոթան՝ վերնահարկով ու ներքնահարկով եւ Քրիստոսի գերեզմանը,ուր լույսն են վառում, ու կրոնավորական բոլոր ուխտատեղիները, լեռներն ու ձորերը, կալվածներն ու ստացվածքները նրանց տվի՝Աստուծո առաքյալի ու բոլոր մուսլիմ հավատացյալների վկայությամբ»:
Այս Հաստատագիրը վկայում է նաեւ Սալահեդդինը իր 1187 թ. Երուսաղեմի հայոց Եկեղեցուն տրված արտոնյալ կարգավիճակի մեջ:.. Երբ հետագայում Օմար խալիֆը (634-644թթ.) 636թ. գրավում է Երուսաղեմը, հետեւելով մարգարեի օրինակին նմամ արտոնյալ կարգավիճակ շնորհում դարձյալ Երուսաղեմի հայոց պատրիարքությանը՝ ի դեմս՝ Երուսաղիմայ հայոց պատրիարք Եզեկիելի որդի Գրիգոր Ուրֆայեցուն:
Ուշագրավ է, որ համաշխարհային պատմագրության մեջ Մուհամմեդի մասին հնագույն գրավոր հիշատակությունը վերաբերվում է Սեբեոս հայոց պատմիչին՝ 7-րդ դարում: Միաժամանակ իսլամի մասին արժեքավոր տեղեկություններ են քաղել հայ մատենագիրներ Ղեւոնդը 8-րդ դարում,Թովմա Արծրունին 9-րդ դարում, Մովսես Կաղականտվեցին10-րդ դարում, Մխիթար Անեցին12-13-րդ դարերում, Վարդան Արեւելցին13-րդ դարում, Գրիգոր Տաթեւացին14-րդ դարում եւ այլն:
Վերջիներս անշուշտ Իսլամի մարգարեի վերաբերյալ մերժողական եւ բացասական վերաբերմունք են դրսեւորել,նրան կոչելով կեղծ մարգարե:Հայ պատմագիրները նաեւ իրենց գործերում հաճախակի են ներկայացրել Մուհամմեդի եւ նրա կարծեցյալ ուսուցչի՝ Բահիրայի՝ հայազգի այդ աղանդավոր վանականի միջեւ հանդիպումներն ու քրիստոնեության ու հուդայականության մերժման վերջիներիս համընդհանուր ջանքերը:... Երբ տեղի ունեցավ Հայոց Մեծ Եղեռնը, արաբները, որոնք շուրջ 400 տարի գտնվելով թուրքական տիրապետության ճիրաններում ոչ միայն հրաշեկ, տոթակեզ ավազուտ իրենց անապատներում հաց,ջուր եւ կացարան տվեցին հայերին այլեւ Մեքքայի հոգեւոր գերագույն շերիֆ Հուսեյնը առաջինը դատապարտեց հայերի նկատմամբ կատարված ոճիրը:
